About Maria Tamsma

   Who is Maria Tamsma?

Maria Tamsma is a Dutch woman, 58 years old, living in the centre of Amsterdam.
She has a Master Degree of the Academy for Social Work (1971), and a Master Degree
of the Art Academy (Gerrit Rietveld Academie, 1990).

Since 1990 Maria Tamsma owns her own business offline. Last years her main work is
(copy-)writing, editing, and (graphic) design for magazines and groups in the field of culture,
art and literature. Besides that, she regular developed and organised programs (as a freelancer) for time limited art projects, cultural projects, and for theatre groups.

Because her studies were so totally different, she has years of working experience in a rather wide field of jobs and niches.
Maria Tamsma worked in the field of social work, development of educational, cultural and art projects for schools, theatre and public events, and the management of small and medium-sized organisations.

She worked in all kind of functions from youth-worker, social worker, consultant, programmer, editor, designer, and manager, to director and CEO of small and medium-sized organisations.
She did all kind of work from management, financial management, development, programming, teaching, coaching and counseling work, organising big public art-events, marketing, public relations, writing and graphic design, to cleaning the toilets and painting the walls.

The reason for Maria Tamsma to start an internet business lately, is that she became invalid a few years ago. However, she likes her work a lot, and she likes to work and to stay at work till she is very old. That's the reason why she wanted to find a different way to earn a decent living with her knowledge, skills and ideas. Internet is a good solution to make that possible.
